Pakistan became a Nation as a conclusion of the partition of British India on August 14, 1947. Pakistan annexed Azad (Free) Kashmir after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947-48. Initially, Pakistan also included the northeastern sector of the state.

Pakistan, populous and country of South Asia. Having a predominately Indian and Iranian speaking people, Pakistan has historically and culturally been associated with its neighbors India, Afghanistan, and Iran Since Pakistan and India achieved independence in 1947.

Geography is the study of Earth's landscapes, peoples, places and environments. It is, quite simply, about the world in which we live. Geography is unique in bridging the social sciences (human geography) with the natural sciences (physical geography).
